Children’s Act is a short film created with Children in Wales, addressing fears around abuse. Wales is one of the few nations to ban physical punishment, and this animation is currently used in workshops across schools to educate 7–14-year-olds around this subject. I worked closely with Kyle Abraham, the Creative Director and Illustrator, to bring his vision to life, creating emotive characters with the right expressions, movements, and emotions to match the tone of the project.

Without a voiceover, the visuals had to tell the story alone. We ran extensive animation tests for the character rigs to ensure every movement and expression conveyed the intended emotion. Given the sensitive subject matter, it was essential to approach the work thoughtfully, making sure the animations were both impactful and respectful.
